Duties: |
| • Proactively identify and help resolve issues in manufacturing through design control methodologies, initiation of engineering change requests, and executing verification & validation processes.
• Implement, verify, validate and document engineering changes, and complete all required associated documentation, including that regarding work instructions, standard operating procedures, failure investigations, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain, validate and update work instructions and build procedures.
• Understand and implement quality procedures in manufacturing for receiving, incoming inspection, control of non conforming material, inventory control, and SPC.
• Maintenance of bill of materials ensuring its completeness, accuracy.
• Assist in identifying, purchasing, and qualifying components and vendors.
• Assist in the build and assembly of production units.
• Have working knowledge of IEC 60601 specifications and practices.
• Have the ability to assemble and troubleshoot electrical wiring and electrical components in production units.
• Setup and configure Windows based systems (software installation and customization of hardware on laptop & desktop computers, modify system settings, configure routers and setup private networks).
• Interface with clients for phone support and follow-up.
• Frequent travel to client sites for installation, support, and maintenance of production units. Travel may be required on short notice or over weekends.
• International travel may be required.
• Lifting & moving heavy loads.
• Occasional overtime hours required when on project deadline.

Qualifications: |
| • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Five years work experience in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proven academic track record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well versed in Microsoft Office tools and Windows based CAD packages (Solid Works / Auto Cad etc…)
• Familiar with quality standards like ISO / IEC (Either training in work environment or courses in college).
• Must have some experience in electrical wiring and circuits.
• Have working knowledge of IEC 60601 specifications and practices.
• Have the ability to assemble and troubleshoot electrical wiring and electrical components in production units.
• Valid driving license required
• Criminal and other background checks required.
• Drug test required.
• Must have excellent references.
