Description:

Green company in downtown Portland is looking for an administrative assistant. Excellent opportunity to get in the door with a growing, dynamic, and sustainable organization!

Duties:

• Provides general administrative support to department.
• Coordinates office activities and meetings
• Professionally interacts with and assists clients, vendors, and visitors
• Performs general clerical duties including sorting and delivering incoming/outgoing mail, copying, and filing
• Maintains filing system, staff records, and office space
• Performs some reporting functions and light bookkeeping
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Six months to one year of previous office experience, or recent completion of 4 year degree
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, any experience with Visio is a plus!
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Able to work independently, as part of a cohesive team
