Duties: |
• Conduct needs assessment on projects
• Interview clients, compile data and organize information
• Develop summary reports on findings and determining scope of work
• Data analysis
• Training design and development for curriculum and/or web-based modules
• Develop training materials, reference manuals, job aids, etc.
• Classroom training delivery

Qualifications: |
• Minimum of 6-9 years of proven experience in an Instructional Designer or Training Specialist role within a large company
• Facilitation skills
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on software application training
• On-line instructor-led training via LiveMeeting (1+ years)
• Ability to work with a variety of clients at all levels of employment within the organization
• Takes direction well and can work independently under minimal supervision
• Effective written and oral communication skills to communicate with internal and external customers
• Works effectively within a team dynamic
• Can support the work of other Instructional Designer/Training Specialists
• Process oriented as it relates to training determination, design, delivery and evaluation methods
• Ability to manage assigned project tasks and complete within short deadlines
• Must work well under pressure
• Results and people oriented
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint (MS Office 2010 required)
• Toolbook, Camtasia, or Captivate – web design software to develop web-based training modules (preferred but not required)
• Microsoft Project (preferred but not required)
• Technical writing skills (preferred but not required)
