Description: |
Responsible for the daily maintenance of guest rooms, including detailed cleaning and replenishing of guest supplies. Shall assist the Executive Housekeeper with supervision of room attendants and laundry staff.

Duties: |
1.Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service.
2.Supervise room and laundry attendants on shift, including room assignments, conduct all room inspections and redirection as needed, and coordinate supply needs with laundry attendants.
3.Assist Executive Housekeeper with staff schedules, employee training and performance counseling and evaluations.
4.Coordinate preventative maintenance needs and ensure quality housekeeping services.
5.Coordinates housekeeping duties with utility maintenance and front desk staff, communicating room availability, stay over's, room maintenance needs, and special set-up/take downs for scheduled groups/meetings.
6.From the daily room checklist, access the PMS system to indicate room availability.
7. Assist Supervisor with administering the lost and found policy, as outlined by policy.
8.Coordinate with the Porter Staff, the removal of soiled linens, and carts and supplies maintenance.
9.Assist guests with supply requests and/or household services promptly and efficiently.
10.Monitors and records tips received, advising staff of tip regulations and properly reporting to payroll.
11.Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment at all times for employees and guests.
12.Ensure that operation of equipment, tools and materials is handled in a safe and efficient manner.
13.Record keeping as needed to maintain supplies, note repairs, report incidents., etc.
14.Report any damages, lost and found items and/or unusual occurrences immediately.
15.Communicate with supervisor on housekeeping needs, staff performance issues, repair requests, etc.
16.Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
17.Adheres to and promotes compliance with applicable laws, safety and sanitation codes, employee handbook and department policies and procedures.
18.Other related duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications: |
1.One (1) year of hotel housekeeping experience.
2.High School Diploma or GED.
3.Guest service experience.
4.Supervisory experience.
5.Demonstrate computer skills with word, spreadsheets and database systems.
6.Experience and knowledge of cleaning procedures, practices and handling of chemicals.
7.Effective communication skills to read, follow written directions on safety/warning labels; compute simple math equations, generate written reports and effectively communicate verbally - information, instruction and direction.
8.Physically fit - able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time; able to perform repetitive motions with arms, wrists, hands and fingers; able to bend, kneel, stretch, lift and maneuver performing cleaning details.
9.Excellent personal appearance and hygiene habits.
10.Requires clearance of a criminal history check.
