Duties: |
1. Endeavor to fulfill all aspects of Fisher’s commitment to provide an enjoyable, satisfying, and profitable experience for all employees and customers (documented as “The Fisher Experience”)
2. Perform all duties in compliance with Fisher’s operational and safety procedures and policies
3. Display competency in all Level 1 and 2 Service Technician tasks
4. Appropriately advance along personal John Deere Training Path
5. Complete effective and efficient diagnostics and repair of machinery, demonstrating proper use of testing and diagnostic equipment and special tools, with little or no supervision
6. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Service Advisor Manuals, DTAC, JDIS, Pathways, and other reference materials
7. Perform all assigned repairs, without supervision
8. Oversee lower-level technicians, making the best use of available man hours
9. Develop accurate service quotes with little or no guidance
10. Promote after-market services, with outstanding leadership
11. Assist management and/or designated groups to enhance dealership performance
12. Communicate equipment service requirements and maintenance recommendations to customers, in a manner that is effective and reinforces the value of the dealership
13. Represent Fisher Farm & Lawn in a professional and positive manner, in the presence of employees, customers, and the community
14. Perform other related duties, as assigned

Qualifications: |
High School diploma or equivalent
Four to six years' industry experience
Strong oral communication, customer service, organizational, and computer skills
Competency in all Level 1 and 2 Service Technician tasks
Current John Deere Basic Systems Certifications, or equivalent
Expanded set of tools, appropriate to job duties
Availability to work throughout the harvest season and on an on-call basis
Physical requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as much as eight hours in a day
Ability to lift and carry up to forty pounds up to ten timers per hour
Ability to perform frequent stooping, bending, and twisting
Ability to adjust to a work environment that possesses significant variations in temperature and is susceptible to loud and abrupt noises and hazards typically associated with machinery
Normal or corrected visual acuity
Normal or corrected hearing acuity
